Harry's request was "High Voltage, you take it from there!" He did give me one more bit of input. He wanted it built from old growth Mexican mesquite. Interesting wood to make a guitar from. He had a source, so he sent me the wood. Beautiful wood! I book matched the mesquite, sprayed 20 coats of lacquer, and hand polished it. The body is completely contoured and chamfered. The neck is maple. I added High Voltage symbols inlayed in mother-of-pearl in the pickups, "heater" symbol in ebony and brass in the front of the body between the pickups, pickup surrounds made from coiled copper wire and then gold plated, custom machined and gold plated "insulator" string holders, gold plated and inlayed "knife switch" pickup selector switch, owners name in mother-of-pearl in the 12th fret, high voltage tower graphic on the headstock, schematic on back of body, white pearloid buttons on gold plated tuners, maple neck, ebony fingerboard.
